Jennifer taught kindergarten for three years in the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Schools in New Jersey. She also taught an Autistic Support class for one year, working with students in 2nd through 5th grades. She was elected to the district’s New Teacher Advisory Panel and lauded for her transformative work with early childhood students. Jennifer attended graduate school at the College of Saint Elizabeth, where she obtained her certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities. She has a BA in Education with a concentration in reading from Kutztown University.
If Jennifer could be any fictional character from a book, she would be Anne Shirley from one of her favorite childhood novels, Anne of Green Gables, because Anne is smart, driven, and imaginative, and she loves reading and writing.
