IDEA funds provides States with over $11 million dollars to help pay for additional cost of providing services for the estimated 6.6 million children with disabilities. These funds are intended to ensure that schools improve long term outcomes for all students with disabilities. Up to 15% of IDEA funds may be used towards Response to Intervention (RTI) for the general student population.
