EDWEEK MARKET BRIEF: LightSail partners with The Washington Post

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 1.04.30 PM EdWeek Market Brief reported on the trend of alliances between literacy and media companies, highlighting LightSail’s partnership with the Washington Post. LightSail users will now have access to dozens of breaking news stories weekly, and hundreds of stories in the newspaper’s archives.

In addition to five new Post stories, selected daily by the LightSail Content Team, users will also receive 10 KidsPost stories per month (aimed at grades 3-8).

The article quoted Alan Shearer, editorial director of The Washington Post News Service and Syndicate, saying, “We are pleased that schools across the country will receive Washington Post articles through the LightSail interactive platform and that our content will support students’ education and encourage a love of reading.”
