WSJ: LightSail gathers $11M to help K-12 students master reading

wsjd_logo_whats-new_v3The Wall Street Journal’s venture capital blog, Venture Capital Dispatch, covered LightSail’s Series B round of funding, in an article, “LightSail Raises $11 Million for Literacy Learning App.” The $11M round was led by investments from the Valhalla Charitable Trust, established by Intuit founder Scott Cook, and the Bezos Family Foundation, founded by Mike and Jackie Bezos. The foundations share a focus on making a positive social impact through education and technology.
