PRESS ARGUS-COURIER: Students take part in national reading challenge

pressargusThe Press Argus Courier featured Butterfield Trail Middle School in a recent article, highlighting the school’s participation in LightSail’s nation-wide reading challenge. Students at Butterfield Trail Middle School read the most overall minutes during the month-long challenge, with an impressive total of 379,670 minutes.

“We were thrilled with the high volume of reading our students attained during the LightSail 25 challenge,” said Karen Endel, Butterfield Trail Middle School principal. “Not only was the challenge a great motivator for reading, but also is carrying forward as students are excited about continued reading.”
