SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL: Ebooks Will Surge in Classrooms, Study Says

Library-Journal-LogoSchool Library Journal featured the LightSail’s State of the Digital Book Market report, noting the the findings “revealed a strong preference for digital libraries over rental models.”

“Forty percent would prefer purchasing ebooks outright, with only 16 percent opting for a Netflix-like subscription service. Only four percent liked the idea of a one-time, time-limited checkout.”
